Tonsley
Events move into their second year of their two year sponsorship deal of the mighty
Cuddington Cricket Club. Indeed, we have sponsored Cuddington Cricket Club for
the 2005 and 2006 seasons - a deal of an undisclosed figure! Cuddington
is a sleepy village on the border of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Other clubs
in the area are closing but we felt that a cricket side is an important part of
village life and a quintessentially English sight and therefore Tonsley Events
thought it was important to help out. So, the
Tonsley Events deal brings a new Club logo, shirts, caps and a Club website
amongst other things. Tonsley Events will also be
touring a Tonsley Select XI against the village with a BBQ on 2nd
September 2006. The Club has a bar in
the pavilion and plenty of space on the village playing fields to throw down a
picnic rug (not if you are fielding) and enjoy the cricket in the sun and into
the long summer evenings. |  |
This
village’s fixture list is now live on the dedicated
ECB Play-Cricket website and features 10 matches, a mixture of occasional
Saturday and Sunday games and a couple against nomadic touring sides. The
Cuddington team play friendly Sunday cricket with an emphasis on the social side.
The big match against Tonsley
