This February, the Tonsley Time Team embark on their next tour, travelling across the Channel to visit the Great War sites of Verdun and the Somme.

The two night trip from Friday to Sunday will take in the parts of the Somme, venture down to Rhiems for the night, pick up Florence Lamousse (of Chocolat fame) and continue on to the First World War battle site of Verdun. Saturday night should be interesting, staying in 'Le Coq Hardi', and Sunday promises a pleasant return via the Champagne capital of the world.
